Design your own computer

Here are the steps to make a paper computer:

1. Collect your materials. You will need two pieces of paper or card stock in the color and size you want your laptop case to be. You also need two pieces of white paper, a piece of cardboard, a ruler, scissors, glue, clear tape, a pen, and markers or colored pencils¹.

2. Fold one piece of paper in half lengthwise. This will be the base of your laptop.

3. Cut out a rectangle from the other piece of paper that is slightly smaller than the folded piece. This will be the screen.

4. Glue the screen onto the base of your laptop.

5. Cut out two small rectangles from the white paper and glue them onto the screen for buttons.

6. Cut out a small rectangle from cardboard and glue it onto the back of your laptop for support.

7. Use markers or colored pencils to decorate your laptop as desired¹.
